Not surprising. It is the 'unsung heros' of the world who get things done and do for others. It is not the celebrities who do a 'photo-op' for the publicity and adoration and false belief that they are important.

togspled - You are right, "Outsiders don't know." Hospitals and agencies, etc. do all they can to 'project' the positive image of how wonderful the place is; how happy and kind and caring their staff is; how pleasant the patients and/'clients' are......

This doesn't just happen in Emergency Rooms. Direct care staff (especially those who work with the developmentally-disabled, mentally-retarded, etc.) are especially vulnerable. And, what makes it worse, is that there is no recourse for staff injured in a sheltered workshop.

I wouldn't trust the FDA and all it's 'sponsors' who pay to fund it. Maybe it's all that apple juice that I have seen in the local markets and, of course, Walmart - that says 'concentrate from China.' When I saw that, those bottles went back on the shelf very quickly.
